Surud is a community-rooted initiative that uses sports, leadership development, and participatory action to expand opportunities and nurture spaces of belonging and love for children and youth growing up amid poverty, marginalisation, and violence.

"Surud" comes from Mundari, the language of the Mundari Tribe, and means "from the heart".

Why Surud Exists

Surud was founded on the belief that indigenous and rural youth deserve a future built on safety and dignity.
